ZnFe3+2(AsO4)2(OH)2.4H2O
Monoclinic
Ojuelaite, a zinc ferric-iron arsenate hydroxide hydrate mineral, was found at Sterling Hill in 1979. It occurs as greenish-yellow fibrous masses which form very thin, sparse coatings on black-willemite ore. It was verified using X-ray methods and confirmed by partial microprobe analysis which showed Zn, Fe, and As to be the major constituents. It has not been found at Franklin.
