Monoclinic
Clinoclase, a copper arsenate hydroxide mineral, was identified from Sterling Hill employing X-ray methods. It occurs rarely as a glassy, dark blue, semitranslucent mineral in 1-2 mm crystals with covellite on franklinite/willemite ore. It is not known from Franklin.
