Monoclinic
Starkeyite, a magnesium sulfate hydrate mineral, was identified by the author as part of a white powdery efflorescence assemblage associated with mcallisterite on willemite-franklinite ore from Sterling Hill. The mineral was identified using X-ray methods, and no physical or chemical measurements have been made. It has not been reported from Franklin.
