MnWO4
Monoclinic
Huebnerite, a manganese tungstate mineral, was identified from Franklin by Dunn (1979c); it has not been reported from Sterling Hill. It occurred as 1 mm euhedral crystals, mostly equant, but some are elongate in habit. This huebnerite is dark red with vitreous to submetallic luster. The crystals are associated with secondary willemite and franklinite crystals and have the composition MnO 24.19, FeO 0.24, WO3 77.16, ZnO trace, total = 101.59 wt. %.
